Some time ago I was asked to become a design consultant for an early stage startup. After consultations with experts in the industry, together with an Oxford engineering alumni we’ve crafted a design proposal for a Mobile Construction 3D Printer for an engineering review at Warsaw University of Technology in hope students could test out each of the subsystems that comprise the system. If successful, the current predicted specifications allow it to print buildings of virtually unlimited building area with a maximum single floor wall height of approximately 3m.
